![]() They embody the philosophy of tubthumping, they get knocked down but get back up again. ![]() Almost all of them start with block and have acccess to strength skills, the only exception to both of these being the runner. Dwarves are stout and sturdy, almost all of them being heavily armored and incredibly resistant to injury. ![]() It is true that their game plans are a bit limited, but the skill in being a good dwarf coach is knowing how to work within those limitations, and knowing when to expand beyond them. Some people claim that dwarves are boring, but I politely disagree. It was for this reason that the dwarves were the first to uncover the ancient temple of Nuffle, rediscovering the great game of Blood Bowl to the world and forever changing how the world functions. They are considered the greatest miners and tunnelers in the world, the great halls of Karaz-a-Karak sprawling beneath the entirety of the World’s Edge Mountains and beyond. Brilliant craftsmen, unflinching warriors, and studious scholars, dwarves often dedicate themselves to their craft. They are a sturdy, strong, and often stubborn people, holding a great pride and loyalty to each other. Once holding an Empire that stretched from Norsca to the north, all the way to the jungles in the far south, the majority of their remaining empire is now centered within the World’s Edge Mountains. Their history and knowledge stretches back to time immemorial. The Dwarfs, or Dawi as they prefer to be called, since Dwarf is not a word that can be trademarked, are one of the oldest races in the Old World. And really, what is a dwarf if not the biggest, meanest stunty? As someone who spends the majority of his time as a coach coaching stunties, I find it relaxing to take to a pitch with a team of dwarves and just hit things. I will be upfront and say that I like the dwarves. But is that true? And furthermore, is that unfun? Everyone is going to have differing opinions. They do one thing, they do it very well, and are generally believed to be unable to to deviate from that. Ok, I know dwarves get a lot of hate, but is it really deserved? The biggest criticism against them is that they aren’t dynamic, and many claim this makes them boring to coach, and boring to play against. No one has ever had anything bad to say about dwarves, and I think the only team more beloved might be Chaos. Don’t bother fact checking that, or asking him, because it’s on the record now. I know for a fact that they are the favorite team of /u/Fwomp both to coach and play against. This time, we’re talking about everyone’s favorite angry soup cans, the dwarves! I know that dwarves are beloved. No one should ever have to pay for this crap. ![]() If you want to help support this publication, you can visit my patreon at- no, I’m kidding.
